Agentic AI Build Week — Official Rules

1. Eligibility

The hackathon is open to participants worldwide. To be eligible:

  • You must be registered for Agentic AI Build Week via the official registration page (bit.ly/AABWSKP). Registration is approval-gated by the organising team.
  • At least one member of your team must attend in person at the Ho Chi Minh City venue on Demo Day (Saturday, 12 July 2026).
  • Minors under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to participate.
  • Employees and immediate family members of GenAI Fund and enterprise track sponsors are not eligible to win prizes in their respective sponsored tracks.

2. Teams

  • Teams may consist of 1–6 members.
  • Each individual may only be on one team.
  • Members may be from different organisations or countries.

3. Tracks & Submission Slots

  • Each sponsored track has 60 submission slots, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Teams must confirm their track selection on Devpost by 10 July 2026, 9:00 PM (ICT). Teams that do not confirm by this deadline may lose their slot.
  • The organising team reserves the right to open additional submission slots for any track, subject to total team registration numbers by 1 July 2026.
  • Enterprise track submissions must address the designated problem statement for that track. Problem statements are released on 1 July 2026.

4. What to Build

  • All projects must be built during the hackathon period (11 July 2026 onwards).
  • Projects must incorporate an Agentic AI model or tool as a core component of the solution.
  • Pre-existing projects may only be submitted if the work developed during Build Week constitutes a substantial new enhancement, clearly documented in the submission.
  • Projects must not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.

5. Submission Requirements

All submissions must be made via Devpost and must include:

  • A written project description (problem, solution, how it works)
  • A demo (video walkthrough strongly recommended, and/or a live demo URL)
  • Documentation of which Agentic AI model(s) and tool(s) were used and how
  • A link to the source code (GitHub or equivalent, accessible to judges)
  • The confirmed track the project was built for

Submission deadline: 12 July 2026, 9:00 AM (Hanoi / ICT, UTC+7). Late submissions will not be accepted.

6. Judging

Judging criteria will be announced by the organising team prior to the hackathon. All judging decisions are final. The organising team reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not meet the requirements set out in these rules.

7. Prizes

  • Prize winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony on 12 July 2026.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.
  • All prize values are stated in USD. Applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Participants retain full ownership of all projects they create during the hackathon.
  • By submitting, participants grant GenAI Fund and participating enterprise track sponsors the right to evaluate their project for potential pilot and deployment conversations. No ownership rights are transferred.
  • By participating, you grant GenAI Fund a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your project name, description, and demo for promotional purposes related to Agentic AI Build Week.

9. Code of Conduct

Agentic AI Build Week is committed to providing an inclusive and respectful environment for all participants. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the event. By registering, all participants agree to uphold this standard.

10. Disqualification

Teams may be disqualified for:

  • No team representative attending in person at Demo Day (12 July, Ho Chi Minh City)
  • Submitting after the deadline
  • Submitting a pre-existing project without clearly documenting new development
  • Plagiarism or misrepresentation
  • Violation of any technology partner's API or platform terms of service
  • Violation of the Code of Conduct

11. General

  • These rules are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
  • GenAI Fund reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the official event website and Discord.
  • By registering and participating, all entrants agree to these rules in full.
